If anyone has any lingering doubts whether Garner is a Great Place to Be, those doubts are guaranteed to disappear after watching the talented performers in the Town’s fourth annual talent showcase, Gift. The Town of Garner’s valentine to the community, Gift 4 celebrates the wealth of talent that resides in this area. Last year’s Valentine show played to an SRO crowd of enthusiastic audience members. Couples literally danced in the aisles. Inspired by the love songs in the show, one young man screwed up his courage, dropped to one knee and proposed on the spot! While we cannot guarantee a proposal, we can guarantee a memorable night. Gift continues in spite of these tough economic times due to the generosity of the Paul Capps Family.
