Volunteers
The Garner Chamber of Commerce considers its volunteer academy to be one of its very best assets. Allowing others the opportunity to invest their own time, gifts and talents into this organization has created a strong sense of ownership and commitment in the community. The Chamber of Commerce is a hub of activity and many of our volunteers spend their time with us because they enjoy being involved in the development of Garner's future.
There are several ways to increase your involvement in the Chamber.
Office Volunteers: Greeting visitors, preparing relocation packets, answering phone calls and/or running errands assists the staff in ensuring the efficiency and quality of personal service the Garner Chamber promises to its partners.
Event Volunteers: The Chamber is committed to offering quality event planning for our members. Regardless of the size of the event, whether it is a Business Exchange Breakfast or the Reverse Raffle, extra hands are always required to provide the level of excellence our members deserve. Volunteer opportunities are available monthly at our Business Exchange Breakfast and our Business After Hours or seasonally at our Reverse Raffle, the Golf Outing or the Chamber's Annual Planning Conference.
Volunteer Your Resources: Gain visibility for your company by providing products and services to the Chamber. The Chamber is committed to promoting the names of those companies that make our everyday business operations both cost effective and efficient. Raffle prizes, door prize giveaways, and goody bag items are just a few of the tangible items we need to make our events more exciting and more affordable for our members.
Sponsorships: Corporate sponsorships strengthen the Chamber and its relationship to the community. Choose from a list of event-specific sponsorships or contact the Chamber directly to discuss how we might jointly invest in building and protecting a healthy local economy in the Garner area.
