As Eastern Wake and Johnston County’s leading lifestyle publication, Triangle East magazine reaches a growing population that lives, works and plays in the area. The region offers plenty of opportunities to express its residents’ identity and homegrown values.
“As I approach my second anniversary as editor of Triangle East, I’m realizing just how at home I’ve become in this area,” said Editor Nancy Pardue. “I thoroughly enjoy meeting our readers, reading their comments, and learning about their interests. With every issue, I try to infuse our magazine with information they will find useful.”
The Summer 2010 issue of Triangle East offers ideas on beautifying life at your home address, in articles such as “Fast and Frugal – The One-Day Makeover,” “Fun and Functional Finds for Your Home” and “Dream Kitchen Tour.” The Garden Adventurer section focuses on the oddly-named but eye-catching shrimp plants.
The annual Garner Business section celebrates local “Success Stories,” plus important “Options & Opportunities” affecting not only Garner, but its neighboring Triangle East towns. Mayor Ronnie Williams and Chamber President Neal Padgett also pass along their messages of excitement about the town’s economic prospects.
The article “Grow and Share: Feeding Communities” will inspire readers with stories and lessons from an important community gardening project that’s helping to feed local families.
The “Raising a Reader” feature provides tips on how to boost children’s interest in reading, which will open up worlds of opportunities for them.
